Really Quick

Nothing to do with Paganism. I'm just extremely excited for the opening day of the Barnstable County Fair this year. Why? Well, let me give you a quick back story to the enigma that is me. Growing up in Bad Axe, Michigan, I didn't listen to the mainstream music that was, and always is so abundantly available on the radio. In fact, I practically begged the bus driver and my parents (against my sister's wishes) to listen to the oldies station. This was my music of choice until we moved out her to the East Coast and I couldn't get a signal for any oldies station to save my life! Now, the exciting part.

Yep. Herman's Hermits, one band among the plethora of oldies bands I enjoyed as a child, is the big name on the stage for opening night! Weee!!!! This must be what it feels like to feel tipsy! I've already seen The Monkees (in 1996 when I was 12) and The Moody Blues (in 1997)! Who knows? Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to see Paul McCartney in concert. *Wish*

  4. sounds great :D the county fair here sucks if you don't like rides...and I don't. One year weird all came, but people where camping out for days to see it, cause it was free...

  5. Yeah, I don't like rides either. We go for the animals, exhibits and fried goodness! *^_^* As far as being able to see the free shows, we never have anyone as big as Weird Al, so I never have to worry about that. Too bad for you, though. I'll bet that would have been worth seeing. *U_U*
